We have been using your Fax ActiveX control for years in our product. We currently use version 11.1, we also have available to us version 12.5, and have done similar troubleshooting on the version 12.60 demo. What we are finding is that newer modems do not work very reliably, if at all, with your products.
Here is a partial journal of what I've tried on our product with your 11.1 software. I have tried the same thing on your 12.60 demo.
This is on a MultiTech 9234ZBA-USB on Windows Server 2008 R2.
Note that this modem works FINE WITH NO PROBLEMS in hyperterminal. I have tried it a dozen times and it works without fail in that... it just doesn't work with your toolkit.
