With Black Ice Printer Drivers you can specify the color depth setting of the generated image. The value can be 1 bit, 8 bits, 8 bits grayscale and 24 bits. When you choose a specific color depth setting, you will be able to print only to those file formats which support that setting.

  • 1 bit - black and white

  • 8 bit - 256 colors

  • 8 bits grayscale - 256 shades of grey

  • 24 bit - full RGB palette - appr. 16 million colors
