Black Ice Software, LLC’s Fax C++ SDK for Windows, Win95 and NT

Black Ice’s FAX C++ Toolkit is designed to enable developers and end users to combine fax, voice and data. The Toolkit allows developers to build black and white or color faxing applications in just a few days. Combined with Black Ice’s Generic Print Driver and Imaging Libraries, Fax C++ provides developers with the tools to rapidly build fax server and fax back applications, or to fax enable an existing application. Standard features include: support for T.30, T.434, and ECM; Class 1,2, and 2.0 Drivers; support for 12 different file formats; and sample progrrams with source code and settings for over 300 modems. New features added include: GammaLink, Brooktrout, and TWAIN support; caller ID; subaddressing; a built in fax protocol analyzer to speed debugging; and remote fax retrieval with password protection. With this toolkit, Black Ice uniquely offerss an API for both generic modems and high-end proprietary fax boards, and additionally offers a unified interface which supports 99% of the fax hardware on the market today.
